SINC Thermal Signs Exclusive Licensing Agreement with Nippon Crucible

Will Now Manufacture Nippon’s Highly Efficient Shaft Melter Furnaces in US

St. Louis, Missouri. . ..SINC Thermal, a leading manufacturer of industrial melting furnaces and ovens, recently announced a pivotal development in its operations. The company has successfully secured an exclusive licensing agreement with Nippon Crucible Co., a renowned Japanese firm, to manufacture and distribute the Shaft-Melter range of furnaces in the United States market.

This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone for SINC Thermal, as it brings two highly acclaimed furnace lines, the Jet-Melter® and Micro-Jet-Melter®, back to the U.S. market. These furnaces have a distinguished history, boasting nearly four decades of proven performance. Additionally, the agreement introduces the innovative Freedom® and Hybrid-Freedom® Melting Furnaces to the U.S. These advanced furnaces have already made a substantial impact in over 120 markets across Asia since their inception in 2015.

Masato Masuda, the Executive Officer and General Manager of International Corporate Marketing and Sales at Nippon Crucible Company, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. “After a thorough vetting process, we are confident that SINC Thermal is the ideal partner to introduce our Freedom® Melting Technology to the U.S. market,” he stated.

The President of SINC Thermal, Joe Slattery, highlighted the unique features of these furnaces, particularly the non-oxidizing chamber, which he described as a “game changer” for the domestic foundry industry.

“Nippon has gained a well-deserved reputation in the international non-ferrous foundry industry for exceptional performance in terms of melt quality and efficiency.” said Slattery. “The Nippon Freedom furnace is as close to a ‘set and forget’ melting technology as I’ve seen, with exceptional durability; linings appeared almost new even after 18 months of operation without cleaning. We’re excited to offer customers this level of performance supported by SINC Thermal service and support.”

This expansion significantly enhances SINC Thermal’s existing product portfolio, which already includes a range of larger crucible shaft melting furnaces, including the company’s Infinity furnace. The company is eager to reintroduce the Jet-Melter® to its previous and current U.S. customers and to showcase the capabilities of the Freedom® Melting Furnaces. All furnaces will be manufactured in Missouri, ensuring US quality control and support.

SINC Thermal’s exclusive licensing agreement with Nippon Crucible Co. not only diversifies its product offerings but also positions the company at the forefront of innovative melting furnace technology in the U.S. market. This move is expected to have a profound impact on the efficiency and quality of operations in the domestic foundry industry.
